“After training for a few months, I ran my first 15K last year. I had a great experience and decided to continue training in preparation for a half marathon a month later. Ten days before the race, I tweaked my right knee. I rested for a couple of days and decided to try and run. After 10 yards of sharp pain every time I landed on my right foot, my hopes of running my first half marathon dwindled.

The day after my painful attempt to run, I saw Dr. Standridge at church. I trusted Dr. Standridge to be a man of integrity but honestly didn’t think my problem was a chiropractic issue. To my surprise Dr. Standridge said his practice helped people with various injuries and that if he couldn’t help me he would advise me on where to go for help.

At this point I didn’t feel like I had anything to lose by having him look at my knee. After a few minutes of pushing and bending he quickly determined that I hadn’t done any major damage. He then had me lay down and was able to adjust my knee. I woke up the next day and to my surprise, felt no pain. I still rested for next six days leading up to the race, but I am happy to report that I ran, and finished, my half marathon, under my goal time, and I did it pain free! I have continued to run. I am now two months and 50+ miles out and still have no pain!
